Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want ExamGuard to be worth paying for. This policy explains cancellations and refunds for paid plans (Pro and School).
1. Free tier
The local-first free tier is free forever and requires no payment, so nothing to refund. Try it fully before paying — the paid tiers only add cloud sync and accounts.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that you revert to the free local tier — your local exams are untouched.
3. Refunds
- 7-day money-back: if you are unhappy within 7 days of your first payment, email us for a full refund of that payment.
- Billing errors: duplicate or accidental charges are refunded in full once verified.
- Mid-cycle: we generally do not pro-rate refunds for an unused part of a period after the 7-day window, but reach out — we handle reasonable cases fairly.
4. How to request
Email starlalith1234@gmail.com from your account email with the subject "Refund". Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
5. School plans
School / institution plans are billed by agreement; refund and cancellation terms are set out in that agreement. Contact us before purchase if you need specific terms.
